ILLIT heightened anticipation for their upcoming release by unveiling the official music video teaser for "Sunday Morning" on January 9.
The teaser captures all five members in a refined, classic atmosphere, effortlessly showcasing their pure and lovely visuals. Standing by sunlit windows, the members offer gentle, innocent smiles that raise excitement levels, while their dreamy, mysterious gazes into the camera add an immersive charm. Scenes of the members wearing name tags as they go about tasks such as cooking and cleaning further amplify curiosity about the storyline that will unfold in the full music video.
Scheduled for release at midnight on January 13, "Sunday Morning" is a J-pop rock–style track that depicts the overwhelming and unstoppable power of love. The song conveys the shimmering emotions and bittersweet longing of a Sunday morning, when one feels an irresistible urge to rush out and meet the person they love.
The track also draws attention for its collaboration with 2000-born singer-songwriter Mega Shinnosuke, who rose to popularity on TikTok with "愛とU (Ai to U)." Expectations are high for the synergy between Mega Shinnosuke’s musical touch and ILLIT’s strong presence as a leading “short-form powerhouse.”
