MISAMO—the TWICE unit of Mina, Sana, and Momo—will release their first Japanese studio album ‘PLAY’ on Feb. 4, 2026. JYP Entertainment unveiled a trailer and stills on Nov. 21 via TWICE’s Japan channels, inviting viewers into a theater-themed concept.
The clip opens with Mina’s line, “Welcome to the stage.” Posters for prior projects ‘Masterpiece’ and ‘HAUTE COUTURE’ appear before the scene shifts: the members sit in dresses among the seats, watching their suited selves step into the spotlight. The narration pivots from viewing to participating—“perhaps you’re not actually sitting in the audience”—and closes with “Now, let reality slip away and take the stage. Play it until you are it.”

Images released alongside the clip echo a playbill-style layout and suggest MISAMO will “play” a full-length work. Since debuting as a unit in July 2023 with ‘Masterpiece’ and following with the second mini album ‘HAUTE COUTURE’ in November 2024, the trio has leaned into a classic, polished mood; the first full album arrives roughly two years and seven months after their Japan debut.
Beyond recordings, MISAMO completed the ‘MISAMO JAPAN DOME TOUR 2024 “HAUTE COUTURE”’ in January 2024, drawing about 250,000 attendees, including a standalone date at Tokyo Dome. Track details for ‘PLAY’ have not yet been announced.
