The new SEVENTEEN unit S.Coups & Mingyu officially released the music video for "5, 4, 3 (Pretty Woman)," the title track of their first mini album 'HYPE VIBES,' on September 29th(KST).
The song interpolates Roy Orbison’s hit "Oh, Pretty Woman," blending upbeat disco sounds with lyrics that candidly express the emotions of being irresistibly drawn to someone.
S.Coups and Mingyu participated in writing and composing all six tracks on the album, including the title track.
Through their agency, the duo shared, "We wanted to show an honest and natural side of ourselves, without embellishment. The creative process felt just as free." They added, "'HYPE VIBES' captures our new possibilities and fresh colors."
They continued, "Since this album is filled with the kind of music we wanted to make, we’ve been filled with excitement every time new content was revealed. Please also look forward to the variety of activities S.Coups x Mingyu have planned."
The unit will unveil the first stage of their new song on October 2nd(KST) on Mnet 'M Countdown.'
