Irene has released the music video for her first mini-album, 'Like a Flower'.
The album features eight tracks spanning various genres, including the title track 'Like a Flower', 'Summer Rain', as well as dance, ballad, and acoustic songs.
The title track is a pop dance song that combines dreamy and addictive melodies. Its lyrics convey a message of embracing life with small acts of courage, likened to the vitality of a flower blooming beautifully.
In a Q&A session shared through her agency, Irene said, "I wanted the album to be released quickly because I put a lot of thought into the story I wanted to tell and worked hard to complete it." She added, "I feel regretful in some ways, but I did my best to prepare."
She highlighted the performance as the emotional core of 'Like a Flower'. Irene explained, "Please focus on the energy that I and the dancers create together," and added, "I hope it feels like a team united by shared emotions, energy, and thoughts, offering strength to one another."
