NewJeans' Hyein drops a dreamy cover of BTS V's 'Slow Dancing'

NewJeans' Hyein revealed her cover of "Slow Dancing" by BTS's V, aka Kim Taehyung.

Hyein shared a video of herself singing V's title track 'Slow Dancing' from his recent solo debut album, 'Layover.' Min Hee Jin, the CEO of NewJeans' label ADOR, led the production of 'Layover,' and the NewJeans members got a preview of the album before its release.

Hyein said in her introduction,"Today, I have the honor of covering V’s song ‘Slow Dancing.’ It has a unique, dreamy, and very pleasant feeling. So, I think I was very happy while practicing and listening to the song."

Hyein is the 3rd member of NewJeans to contribute to their recently launched 'By Jeans' series of covers on YouTube. Her group mate, Danielle, kickstarted the series by releasing a cover of another one of V's songs, 'Rainy Days,' on August 30.
