On July 24 KST, NewJeans appeared on the 21st episode of 'IU's Palette', a YouTube content hosted by IU. Here, they performed "ASAP," a medley of other songs off of their new album 'Get Up," and their own version of the hit IU single "Celebrity." IU then surprised the girls with her own cover of their song "Hurt." 

During the episode, they also share a friendly conversation, where IU and the NewJeans members both confessed their admiration for one another. IU also took a moment to tell Hanni that she was a big fan of her cover of IU's "Through The Night," saying, "I watched [it] so many times because I really loved it. I watched it so many times. You were also playing the guitar, and I really loved it."

She also mentioned that the music producer for "Through The Night," Kim Je Hwi, is actually the music producer of the 'IU's Palette' show, and the producer's shy reaction was shown on camera as IU revealed he is a huge NewJeans fan. "We go back for like 10 years. I sent a message to him [about the group coming onto the show]. Well, he doesn't really reply quickly, and that was the quickest response I've ever gotten from him in the last 10 years. I asked him what NewJeans song he thought I should cover, and he immediately sent me three or four options. And seeing that, I could confirm that Bunnies [NewJeans' fans] are everywhere."
