Comedian Hong Jin Kyung revealed she became proud of making people laugh after going through chemotherapy by watching 'Infinite Challenge'.  

On the May 7th episode of MBC's 'The Managers', Lee Young Ja and her long-time friend Hong Jin Kyung shared their trip to Jeju Island with the viewers. During their trip, Hong Jin Kyung opened up about her experience living on Jeju Island. 

Lee Young Ja commenced choking up, "It's easy to say you've been through chemotherapy, but in reality, you actually faced a near-death experience in your life." Hong Jin Kyung replied, "I developed a habit of always thinking of my death afterward." 

She then continued, "In fact, I didn't have a vocation to be an entertainer. I simply wanted to make money. And you recommended it. But then when I was receiving treatment for hours, I watched almost all episodes of 'Infinite Challenge'. Three-hour-long treatment was over after I watched a couple of episodes laughing. Since then I learned the value of making people laugh. So I'm now very proud of what I'm doing. I'm proud that I'm an entertainer and I'm doing a good deed."
