On February 9, rookie girl group VIVIZ appeared as guests on MBC every1's 'Weekly Idol'!
On this day, VIVIZ introduced their debut title track "BOP BOP!" to viewers, and also shared their thoughts on re-debuting as a trio.
During a segment where VIVIZ answered questions sent in from fans, one fan asked, "Tell us what your group introduction is!". MC MONSTA X's Minhyuk reacted by commenting, "This is very important. This is MONSTA X's introduction gesture," and went on to demonstrate his own group's gesture.
The VIVIZ members reacted to the question by stating, "Even during our past group promotions, we didn't have one." Umji added on, "We are thinking that it's better to not have one."
However, Minhyuk began convincing fellow MC Kwanghee that he should help VIVIZ come up with a unique introduction gesture! Eventually, Kwanghee came up with one gesture where the members would rub their hands together just once. (VIVIZ's group name sounds similar to the Korean word for "rub together".)
While Eunha seemed to like the idea, the other members were worried that if they rubbed their hands continuously by mistake, it might seem like they were either begging or praying!
Although Kwanghee kept trying to "sell" his idea to the VIVIZ members, Minhyuk pointed out that SinB and Umji didn't seem as enthusiastic as fellow member Eunha. When Umji flat out shook her head, expressing that she did not like the idea, Kwanghee said, "After today's broadcast, some fans might have other ideas."
