SHINee's Minho revealed he regretted joining the Marine Corps.

On the February 20th episode of 'Knowing Brothers', Minho was asked about his military discharge last November, and he expressed, "I think I'm going to fly. I'm happy to even be filming for 'Knowing Brothers'." When asked why he chose to join the Marine Corps despite the tougher training, he explained, "I tried it because I wanted to get a lot of training and try new challenges."

However, Minho admitted it wasn't without regrets as he said, "When I first went, I thought I could honestly do it, but I had regrets from the second day. When I got used it, it fit me well."

He also revealed Key had accidentally tricked him into working harder than needed by advising he try out for squadron leader due to possible days off. Though Minho had done his best, it was later revealed the Marine Corps didn't offer those vacation days. Minho said, "I called Key to say they told me those vacation days weren't offered, and he just said, 'Oh, I guess it's different.'"
