IZ*ONE have a cute confession to make in Japanese debut MV for 'I Want To Say I Like You'!

IZ*ONE have released the full MV for their Japanese debut single, "好きと言わせたい (I Want To Say I Like You)"!

In the MV above, the project girl group members express their adorable confession with lovely dance moves on a rainbow-colored field.

IZ*ONE's Japanese debut single album contains title track "好きと言わせたい (I Want To Say I Like You)" as well as "ケンチャナヨ", "ご機嫌サヨナラ", and "猫になりたい", for a total of 4 tracks. The single album will be available in stores on February 6! What do you think of IZ*ONE's Japanese debut?

This song is really good, this is real J-pop ❤ ... IZONE the only girlgroup who can do both great J-Pop & K-pop ❤, not like all the GG who only translate their koreans songs in japanese language

I liked it, I think a lot of Kpop fans who aren't used to Japanese girl groups might not though. Watching this reminded me of Morning Musume, who are promoting with a similar number of members right now.

It's funny though how different a lot of the girls sound compared to their voices on the 'Kpop market' album. Really makes you realise how much is down to production and how tastes in different markets can differ. I was watching one of the I*ZONE CHU episodes today where the Japanese girls talk about never having had vocal trainers before P48 and learning to produce a less nasal sound. It was the first time I really understood why someone like Sakura in particular, who already has a good career, would be interested in breaking into the Kpop world... the Japanese girls are going to learn a lot.

I think the Korean girls might end up enjoying aspects of how things work in Japan, too. Singing live is much more expected, but the sort of fans they'll be catering to will probably be a lot less obsessed with whether they're 'main vocal material' or not than Kpop fans.

The title is not "I want to say I like you" but "I want to make you say 'I like you'"

I think their dance cherography for La Vie En Rose and "suki to iwasete" is really good. also because of their younger members like Wonyoung, the group's concept and outfits have to stay away from sexy or revealing outfits if not netizens will bash them for making a 15 year old (as in 2019), Jang Wonyoung wear it.

I was worried it'd cross over into J-pop too much and it did :'(

do you know how big AKB48 is to japan? most of them can't sing but bloody hell this group is just too big to japan's otaku community. and AKB48 non dating regulation is way even harsher in korea because the brand jakb48 is bigger than individual name, they can kick out member easily.

so how they can be twice wannabe if tthey dont make use of AKB48 brand to gain money as much as possible in japan knowing they are only temporary group? its business in the end there a reason they collab with akb48
