On the December 21 airing of SBS's 'Laws of the Jungle', some new faces joined up with chief Kim Byung Man in the Northern Mariana Islands, including one of the first rookie idols to be invited to the jungle - The Boyz's Jooyeon!
The 'Laws of the Jungle' staff that beginning with The Boyz's Jooyeon, they plan on inviting even more rookies to the show in order to introduce them to the public. Jooyeon said in his interview after returning from his trip, "This is a program I enjoyed watching every since I was little. The entire time, being in the jungle felt like a dream. It was unbelievable. Every moment was memorable." The idol also shared that because he was a swimmer during his school days, he looked up to former Olympic medalist Park Tae Hwan, who was also a cast member for the same trip. "Park Tae Hwan was a hero to me, so I was so happy to have made cherishable memories with him in the jungle, going swimming together and such," Jooyeon added.
During the episode, Jooyeon also showed off a glimpse of his swimming skills, which he prided himself in. The idol even earned his skin scuba diver certification in order to prepare for his 'Laws of the Jungle' adventure.
