Lovelyz are waiting for romance in MV for latest single 'Lost N Found'

The ladies of Lovelyz are back and ready to add some warmth to a cold autumn season!

The group just dropped their fifth mini album 'Sanctuary' on November 26, only four months after the release of their summer single "Wag-zak."

The new album's title track "Lost N Found" is an addictive pop track written by SWEETUNE, Space Cowboy, and 1988, with a charming melody that vacillates between major and minor. In the accompanying music video, the girls are seemingly waiting for a big romance - checking their cellphones for a text, looking forlornly out their window, or finding other ways to pass the time. The mood of the music video matches the lyrics of the chorus well, where the girls sing to 'come find them.'

This song and video gives me Sailor Moon vibes for some reason.

I had the same thought, and I played it over a sailor moon opening and yeah, it like actually fits pretty perfectly. Definitely 90s magic girl anime.

It's really good, I hope they do well with it though it's a hard time to get attention at the moment. They do have a signature sound and don't stray much from what they've done already in single releases, but it's a sound that works well for them (their sales are pretty good given they've never really 'broken through' with the public) and they experiment a bit more on their B-sides.

It's funny: ifans are always claiming that underrated darlings CLC failed because their concepts changed too much. With Lovelyz it's always 'they would have more success if they did something different'. It all makes more sense when you read it as 'I don't like their music.'

The problem is that Koreans want girl groups to stick to one concept forever, while i-fans (including me) don't.
