Civilians rush to rescue a driver after car suddenly flips over

On April 25, a small car was turning at a high speed at a crossroad in Daejun around 6:20 AM KST when it suddenly fell sideways.  

Seeing the abrupt incident, pedestrians hurried over to the vehicle despite the heavy traffic during rush hour.

After checking the driver's condition, the people gathered their strength together to lift the car back upright.

Approximately 14 passersby volunteered to help push the car back up. Later, a tow truck came and successfully placed the car in its original position.

A person who had witnessed the accident reported to Yonhap News, "I heard a loud noise while working and I looked out the window only to find a car laying sideways.  It was very moving to see all the people uniting together to assist another in need."

Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle was taken to a nearby hospital after dialing emergency services (119) and reported to have suffered minor injuries.
