NCT JNJM, consisting of members Jeno and Jaemin, has reached the summit of the Japanese music market with their first mini-album 'BOTH SIDES'. According to Oricon, the album secured the number one position on the Daily Album Ranking as of March 5, 2026. This achievement underscores the high level of local interest in the duo, following the album's official release on February 23.
The album is composed of six tracks, including the witty and upbeat title song of the same name, 'BOTH SIDES'. The project explores a diverse musical spectrum that perfectly balances the contrasting charms of Jeno and Jaemin, earning significant praise from fans worldwide. Prior to its success in Japan, NCT JNJM officially became a "half-million seller" with this release. The album also dominated major domestic charts, secured the top spot on the Bugs realtime chart, and led the QQ Music Digital Album/EP chart in China. Additionally, it ranked within the Top 10 on the iTunes Top Albums chart in 17 regions globally.
NCT JNJM is scheduled to continue their momentum with a series of appearances on major network music programs. They showcased their title track on MBC's 'Show! Music Core' on March 7 and are set to perform on SBS's 'Inkigayo' on March 8. These performances are expected to further captivate global audiences as the unit solidifies its successful debut through high-energy stages and international chart dominance.
