LE SSERAFIM and TWS are set to join the April comeback lineup.
On March 5, LE SSERAFIM's agency Source Music told Dispatch, "LE SSERAFIM is currently preparing to release a new song in April." The label added, "The exact schedule will be announced on a later date."
This will mark the group’s first comeback in about six months. Le Sserafim last released their first single, “SPAGHETTI,” in October of last year. The song climbed to No. 50 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States.
It marked the group’s best performance on the chart, jumping 26 spots compared to the ranking of their fourth mini album title track “CRAZY,” which reached No. 76. It was also their third time entering the Hot 100.
TWS is also planning to release a new album. On the same day, their agency Pledis Entertainment stated, “The goal is an April comeback. More detailed scheduling information will be announced later.”
TWS previously gained attention with their debut track “Plot Twist”, as well as songs such as “If I’m S, Can You Be My N?” and “Countdown!”
In particular, the group solidified their status as a rising idol act with “OVERDRIVE,” the title track from their fourth mini album released in October last year, which sparked the viral "Angtal Challenge" or the "Cute pouting Challenge."
With both LE SSERAFIM and TWS returning around the same time, competition for first place on music charts is expected to intensify. Other artists, including Park Ji Hoon and TXT, are also scheduled to make comebacks next month.
