Band Latency is set to mark its official debut with a title track that carries the group’s name.
Latency will release its first mini album 'Late O’Clock' on March 18th at 6 PM KST, with the title track 'Latency'. By choosing a self titled track, the band aims to directly express its identity and message, symbolizing a meaningful new beginning.
The members’ active participation in the album stands out. Member Haeun took part in writing lyrics, delicately capturing the time and emotions leading up to the group’s formation, while Jiwon contributed to composition, shaping the band’s signature sound. Their involvement in both performance and production adds authenticity to the group’s narrative and musical direction.
The music video was filmed in Tokyo, Japan, blending urban scenery with the band’s live energy to visually convey their story.
Latency has drawn attention as a band formed by members who were previously active in different girl groups. With members Jiwon, Hyunjin, Haeun, and Semi, along with guitarist Heeyeon, the group is taking on a bold new challenge. Their music reflects the idea of restarting after what may seem like a delayed moment, emphasizing determination and a fresh beginning.
Latency’s debut mini album 'Late O’Clock' will be released on major music platforms on March 18th at 6 PM.
