“Conflicting gazes, hidden desires” — 'Mad Concrete Dreams' is set to make its debut on March 14.
Actors Ha Jung Woo, Im Soo Jung, Kim Jun Han, Krystal Jung, and Shim Eun Kyung have teased a suffocating wave of suspense.
On March 3, broadcaster tvN unveiled a five-character gaze poster for its upcoming weekend drama 'Mad Concrete Dreams' (written by Oh Han Ki, directed by Lim Pil Sung).
The poster captures the sharply contrasting gazes of the central characters. Ki Soo Jong (played by Ha Jung Woo) reveals the precarious reality of a debt-ridden building owner pushed to the brink, his anxious eyes reflecting a man cornered.
His wife Kim Sun (Im Soo Jung) exudes firm resolve through a mysterious gaze that conceals her true intentions. Their friend Min Hwal Sung (Kim Jun Han) stares ahead with ambition in his eyes.
Min Hwal Sung’s wife, Jeon Yi Kyung (Krystal Jung), heightens the tension with a piercing look. Adding to the intensity is the cold stare of the villain Yona (Shim Eun Kyung), foreshadowing fierce conflicts among the characters.
'Mad Concrete Dreams' is a suspense drama that follows a struggling building owner who becomes entangled in a staged kidnapping scheme in order to protect both his family and his most prized asset - his property.
'Mad Concrete Dreams' premieres on March 14 at 9:10 PM KST.
