YouTuber 'Entertainment President Lee Jin Ho' has shared an update on Park Na Rae, who recently underwent her first police investigation over allegations of harassment toward her manager and illegal medical treatment.
On February 22 KST, a video titled ‘Was There a Fortune Teller Who Predicted Her Downfall? Park Na Rae Spotted at Makgeolli Academy, Latest Update’ was uploaded to Lee Jin Ho's YouTube channel.
Lee Jin Ho said, “After she was spotted attending weekly makgeolli making classes, Park Na Rae has reached a point where her daily life is practically impossible.” He added, “According to close acquaintances, she has become extremely anxious to the extent that even going outside has become difficult. Due to severe stress, she has lost more than a handful of hair.”
Last month, she was seen in front of a traditional liquor academy in Seoul. Park Na Rae’s side explained, “It is a small hobby she started at the recommendation of acquaintances,” but criticism followed, with some asking, “Is it alcohol again?”
Regarding the situation at the time, Lee Jin Ho said, “When she was spotted in front of the traditional liquor academy, Park Na Rae’s side reportedly pleaded, ‘Please do not report this. Isn’t this part of her daily life, not an official activity? She simply came to the academy for a hobby.’ However, the response they received was that it was the public’s right to know.”
He continued, “At the advice of acquaintances who suggested she try a small hobby, Park Na Rae enrolled in the academy. As stress continued to build, she decided that rather than staying home constantly and worrying that something might happen, she would at least try a small hobby.”
It has also recently been reported that Park Na Rae ultimately gave up her makgeolli classes and has been refraining from going out altogether.
Lee Jin Ho said, “She has now canceled both her Korean cuisine and makgeolli academy courses and is reportedly extremely reluctant to leave the house.”
Meanwhile, the Seoul Gangnam Police Station summoned Park Na Rae on February 20 at 3 PM KST as a suspect on charges including special injury and violations of the Medical Service Act, questioning her for approximately 7 hours and 40 minutes.
After completing the investigation, Park Na Rae told reporters, “I cooperated diligently with the investigation and answered the questions truthfully.” In response to questions such as, “Do you admit to the allegations of power harassment toward your manager?” and “Have you ever thrown a glass of alcohol at your managers?” Park Na Rae stated, “These matters will be clarified through the investigation. There are also parts that are not true and need to be corrected, and they will be corrected.”
Bowing her head, she said, “I once again apologize for causing concern due to these uncomfortable issues.”
