Youngtak’s fan club, ‘Santak Claus,’ has carried out a charitable initiative to support seniors living alone.
Recently, the group donated 520 kilograms(about 1,146 lbs) of eco-friendly rice to 73 households of elderly individuals living independently, through the Wooyang Foundation. The donation was organized to help seniors who may receive less care during the Lunar New Year holiday. The delivery was carried out in cooperation with the Wooyang Foundation, which has experience supporting food needs for vulnerable groups.

A representative from ‘Santak Claus’ explained, “For the Lunar New Year, we wanted to provide meaningful support, and we decided rice, which sustains daily meals, would be the most practical aid. We chose eco-friendly rice to consider the health of the seniors.”
The group added, “We hope that our support for the artist can inspire positive change in society. We plan to continue helping neighbors in need through ongoing charitable activities.”
A Wooyang Foundation official noted, “Thanks to the consistent support of Youngtak’s fan club ‘Santak Claus’ during each holiday season, many seniors are able to enjoy a warmer holiday. Supporting them with healthy, eco-friendly rice is especially meaningful.”
Since 2021, ‘Santak Claus’ has continued various social contribution activities, including assistance for vulnerable groups and donation campaigns.
