Stray Kids member I.N. celebrated a meaningful birthday by giving back. He donated 100 million KRW (approx. 68,626 USD) to support underprivileged patients.
According to JYP Entertainment, I.N marked his 25th birthday on the 8th by putting positive influence into action, delivering the donation to the National Cancer Center.
The contribution will be used to cover medical expenses for cancer patients facing financial hardship, as well as to fund psychological therapy programs for pediatric and adolescent cancer patients.
“I wanted to share the love I’ve received from fans and hope that even a single day can feel a little warmer for those enduring long treatment periods,” I.N said. He added, “Though it’s a small gesture, I hope it reaches them as hope and courage. I sincerely wish for their speedy recovery.”
I.N has consistently continued his charitable efforts. In 2024, he was appointed the youngest member, at age 23, of ChildFund Korea’s high-donor group, the Green Noble Club.
He also shared the spirit of giving on his birthday last year, donating 100 million KRW to Samsung Medical Center, and previously contributed to recovery efforts following wildfires in South Gyeongsang and North Gyeongsang provinces, as well as a major fire in Hong Kong.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids are set to perform at the Governors Ball Music Festival in the United States on June 6, followed by Rock in Rio in Brazil on September 11.
