Actress Lee Young Yoo expressed her longing as she remembered the late Kim Sae Ron on the first anniversary of her passing.
On February 16, Lee Young Yoo posted a photo on her social media along with the message, “Our (Sae) Ron, I will never forget you for even a single day and will love you forever.” The shared photo captured the two spending a warm moment together during Kim Sae Ron’s lifetime. Lee’s playful expression and Kim’s gentle smile created a touching atmosphere.
Kim Sae Ron was found deceased at her home in Seongsu dong, Seongdong gu, Seoul, on February 16 of last year. She was 24 years old.
Kim debuted in 2009 with the film ‘A Brand New Life’ and drew attention at just nine years old after attending the Cannes Film Festival. She later solidified her status as a child star through the film ‘The Man from Nowhere,’ where she starred alongside actor Won Bin.
Although she continued to appear in numerous projects, Kim halted her activities in May 2022 following controversy over charges of drunk driving and failure to take proper measures after an accident. She subsequently took time away from the public eye for self reflection.
Following her passing, various allegations and speculations continued to circulate. Claims surfaced regarding an alleged relationship with actor Kim Soo Hyun during her minor years. At present, the late actress’s family and Kim Soo Hyun’s side are reportedly engaged in legal proceedings concerning related matters.
