Singer and producer Kim Jaejoong will launch two new boy groups this year.
On February 25, iNKODE Entertainment officially confirmed via its SNS channels that two boy groups are set to debut. The agency plans to divide its 11 male trainees into two separate teams, introducing one five-member group and one six-member group.
A video revealing the official team names and member lineups was also released. The groups are named KEYVITUP and VAY ONN. KEYVITUP consists of five members: Taehwan, Hyunmin, Sena, Jaein, and Lukia.
VAY ONN is made up of six members: Masato, Sen, Sun Jiayang, Peng Jinyu, Teru, and Mano. KEYVITUP is aiming for an April debut, while VAY ONN is targeting June, with both teams accelerating preparations.
An iNKODE representative stated, "The two teams have completely different concepts and musical directions. We plan to maximize each group's identity and unique charm as we introduce them to global fans."
The 11 trainees were first unveiled last November through the debut project 'INTHE X.' They have steadily built recognition by connecting with fans through a mini fan meeting in December, the 'Fortune Tour' in January, and another fan meeting held on the 21st.
