Global girl group KATSEYE, formed by HYBE and Geffen Records, successfully wrapped up their ‘Lollapalooza South America’ run with a powerful performance in Brazil.
On March 22, the group took the stage at Lollapalooza Brazil, held at Autodromo de Interlagos, drawing an estimated crowd of 100,000.
From the opening track 'Debut', the audience erupted into a massive singalong, with fans singing along to the lyrics in unison. Performances of 'Gabriela' and 'Gnarly' further energized the crowd, with many attendees even following the choreography.
KATSEYE delivered a high energy set of 13 songs over approximately one hour, showcasing their performance strength and global appeal. The group also connected closely with fans, with member Lara expressing amazement at the crowd’s response, while Daniela communicated with local fans in Portuguese.
The performance’s impact extended beyond the stage, with streaming numbers for KATSEYE’s music rising across Latin America—up 36% in Argentina and 33% in Chile, signaling growing regional popularity.
Formed through the audition project The Debut Dream Academy, KATSEYE has quickly risen on the global stage, entering both the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 within a year of debut and earning recognition as a key example of HYBE’s multi home, multi genre strategy.
