It has been confirmed that actress Jeon Jong Seo recently registered her personal corporation under the popular culture and arts planning business category.
On February 10th KST, a media outlet reported that Jeon Jong Seo had belatedly registered her one-person agency under the popular culture and arts planning business classification.
According to the Popular Culture and Arts Information System provided by the Korea Creative Content Agency, Jeon Jong Seo is listed as the representative of the corporation “Summer Co., Ltd.,” which registered under the popular culture and arts planning business on the 4th. The company was established in June 2022, making the registration approximately 3 years and 8 months after its founding.
Her boyfriend and the director of ‘Ballerina’, Lee Chung Hyun, is registered as an internal director of the company.
Regarding the controversy over the delayed registration, Jeon Jong Seo’s agency Andmarq explained, “‘Summer’ was established for the purpose of content planning, development, and production, not as a management agency.”
They added, “During the corporate establishment process, the business type was broadly listed, which included management-related categories, but as there were no plans to conduct management activities, the necessity was not recognized. However, after issues regarding non-registration recently surfaced, we rechecked the business category details and corrected them.”
Meanwhile, Jeon Jong Seo recently met audiences through the film ‘Project Y’, which was released in January.
