ENA’s breakout drama 'Crash,' which stormed the network in 2024 and ranked No. 2 in ENA history for viewership, is officially returning with Season 2 after a two-year hiatus.
On February 12, ENA announced that 'Crash 2: Road of Fury' (directed by Park Jun Woo, written by Oh Soo Jin) has been slated for broadcast in the second half of this year as a Monday-Tuesday drama. The new season aims to build on the original’s winning formula, a gripping focus on traffic crimes, brisk storytelling, and adrenaline-pumping car action that resonated strongly with genre fans.
In Season 2, the Namgangseo Traffic Crime Investigation (T.C.I.) team will be restructured and expanded into a metropolitan investigation unit under the National Investigation Headquarters, taking on cases across the country. The story is expected to feature high-stakes confrontations with traffic crime syndicates that have evolved to become more intelligent and organized.
Notably, the core creative team behind the first season’s success has reunited. Director Park Jun Woo, recognized for his action work on Season 1 of 'Taxi Driver,' and writer Oh Soo Jin, praised for her strong character development, are teaming up again. Production will be handled by AStory, the studio behind hits such as 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo,' 'Kingdom,' and 'Signal,' further raising expectations for the sequel.
The returning cast also strengthens anticipation. Lee Min Ki reprises his role as the meticulous and analytical Cha Yeon Ho, while Kwak Sun Young returns as the tenacious investigator Min So Hee. Heo Sung Tae once again plays team leader Jung Chae Man, Lee Ho Chul returns as data expert Woo Dong Gi, and Moon Hee reprises her role as martial arts specialist Eo Hyun Kyung.
Lee Min Ki shared, “As traffic crimes become more sophisticated in Season 2, T.C.I.’s investigative methods will also evolve. I’m happy to reunite with Yeon Ho after so long, and our team chemistry remains strong. Since we’re all back together, we’ll do our best to deliver a great project.”
Kwak Sun Young said, “I’ve hoped to greet viewers again with Season 2, and I’m thrilled that wish has come true. We’ll return with even stronger teamwork and even more intense stories unfolding on the road.”
Heo Sung Tae added, “In a world where criminals commit illegal acts and cause irreparable harm yet shamelessly twist the law to their advantage, Crash2 is a meaningful project that exposes such realities and delivers a small but sharp critique. I’m sincerely grateful to be part of it again. I also look forward to uncovering the truth behind Jung Chae Man’s wife’s hit-and-run case.”
Lee Ho Chul commented, “I’m glad to rejoin T.C.I. for Season 2. I’ll work hard to portray Woo Dong Gi’s growth and the team’s deeper bond.”
Moon Hee said, “I’m preparing for 'Crash2' with excitement and anticipation. We’ll once again showcase the T.C.I. team’s strong camaraderie. Along with more cunning traffic crimes, new characters will appear, making the story even more entertaining.”
Adding fresh energy to the lineup, Park Ji Sung of NCT joins as rookie police officer Ji Dae Se. Assigned to the Namgang Police Station’s traffic division, his character looks up to the T.C.I. team.

'Crash 2' is set to air on ENA in the second half of 2026 and will also be available via KT Genie TV.
