DK and Seungkwan earn Gold Disc Certification in Japan

DK and Seungkwan of SEVENTEEN have added another record in Japan.

According to the Recording Industry Association of Japan on February 10th KST, DK and Seungkwan’s first mini album ‘Soyagok’ received a Gold Disc “Gold” certification as of January.

The association grants Gold Disc certifications based on cumulative album shipments each month, with Gold (100,000 copies), Platinum (250,000), and Double Platinum (500,000) tiers.

With this, SEVENTEEN has now earned its third Gold Disc certification as a unit. Previously, Jeonghan and Wonwoo’s first single album ‘THIS MAN’ and S.Coups and Mingyu’s first mini album ‘HYPE VIBES’ also received “Gold” certifications. As a full group, SEVENTEEN holds a total of 18 Gold Disc–certified albums, including singles.
