AKMU has unveiled new profile photos after establishing a one-person agency.
On February 3rd KST, photos were posted on AKMU’s official social media along with the caption, “‘Cemter(샘터: fountain) of Inspiration’ is a new shelter for AKMU.”
The images serve as AKMU’s new profile photos, with siblings Lee ChanHyuk and Lee SuHyun dressed in black, creating a modern and majestic atmosphere. Showing a more mature image, the two expressed their determination to present their music with greater sincerity.
Lee Su Hyun also drew attention for her successful weight loss.
Fans left comments such as, “AKMU fighting! We will always support you,” “We missed you so much,” and “Cheering for our lovely sibling duo.”
AKMU rose to fame after winning Season 2 of the SBS survival audition program ‘K-pop Star’ in 2012. They signed an exclusive contract with YG Entertainment the following year and officially debuted in 2014. After being with YG Entertainment for 12 years since their debut, the duo announced their departure from the company on November 21st last year.
Afterward, AKMU revealed the name of their new agency, ‘Cemter of Inspiration,’ on January 20th. The name is already familiar to fans, as Lee ChanHyuk previously held an exhibition in 2023 under the title ‘Cemter of Inspiration,’ followed by another in 2025 titled ‘Lee Chan Hyuk: Cemter of Inspiration: The Last Drop.’
