Rookie boy group LNGSHOT is currently embroiled in controversy over one member's "role model".
LNGSHOT debuted less than 2 weeks ago with their viral hit 'MOONWALKIN', yet the group has already become involved in a quickly-spreading controversy. The debate began after member Woojin was asked during an interview who his role model was, and he gave the controversial answer "Tory Lanez."
For context, Tory Lanez is a Canadian singer and rapper, who was convicted of shooting Megan Thee Stallion in 2020 and sentenced to 10 years in prison.
Due to Tory Lanez' past, LNGSHOT fans were shocked to hear Woojin choose him as a role model. Fans also uncovered a previous photo of Woojin wearing an official "Free Tory Lanez" shirt, calling for Tory Lanez to be freed from prison:
