Actor Park Bo Gum is opening a hair salon alongside close friends Lee Sang Yi and Kwak Dong Yeon.
On January 2, tvN released the teaser video for ‘Bogum Magic Curl,’ a new variety program that follows Park Bo Gum and his longtime friends as they run a hair salon together. The teaser captures Park Bo Gum on his first day of work, arriving in a quiet rural village while carrying practice mannequins and luggage. His appearance immediately draws attention as he steps into an unfamiliar countryside setting.
‘Bogum Magic Curl’ is set in a renovated old house that had been left abandoned for years. The salon features a warm, welcoming exterior that blends naturally with the village’s atmosphere. Park Bo Gum, Lee Sang Yi, and Kwak Dong Yeon spent a full year preparing for the project, taking part in everything from location scouting to remodeling and interior design.
Park Bo Gum previously earned a national barber license during his service in the Navy and is known to have cut the hair of his fellow servicemen during that time. Lee Sang Yi and Kwak Dong Yeon appear as reliable and hardworking staff members, actively communicating with local residents and building storybook-like memories throughout the program.
‘Bogum Magic Curl’ will premiere on January 30 at 8:40 p.m. on tvN.
