Fans can’t stop laughing as EXO members have 'too much fun' with props at long-awaited group fansign

Fans are hilariously begging EXO members to look "a bit cooler" at their fansign event.

On an online forum, netizens are reacting to a situation in which EXO fans shouted out requests during the group’s latest in-person fansign, urging the members to try to look a little more 'cool' as they wore various props. According to fans online, it was only recently that EXO members were allowed to use props at fansign events, as regulations during their debut years were much stricter and prohibited fan-gifted props.

While some members had previously worn and used props during their solo fansigns, netizens say this event was virtually the first group fansign where EXO were able to fully enjoy using cute and humorous props together.

It has also been quite some time since EXO last held a proper group fansign, due to their prolonged reorganization with all available members participating following the completion of their military service.

Because wearing props is seen as a gesture of affection and a way to have fun with fans, netizens understand that the EXO members are doing their best to try out every concept at this single event. This enthusiasm has hilariously resulted in chaotic combinations of outfits and visuals, including images of Chanyeol as Elsa holding a gun.

One fan wrote: "This is an EXO fansign scene where fans are literally begging in real time for them to look cool. They are saying, 'Kyungsoo (D.O.) oppa, not on your head — please put it around your neck!! Please!! Sehun, take off the hat! Please!! Sehun, can’t you do it cool just once?! Please!!' 

"No one is forcing them at all. They’re really doing this because they like it and think it’s funny. It’s been a long time since EXO have done a group fansign, and originally, fansign props weren’t allowed. The members had only ever tried fansign props during solo fansigns, so this was basically their first time. And while there are some funny props, there are also pretty ones too (even on the very first day, there were things like high school uniforms). But because EXO have such big hearts and want to do everything fans ask, instead of sticking to just one prop, they end up mixing everything together and doing it all."
