TWICE is set to make history next year as the first non-Japanese artist to hold a solo concert at Tokyo National Stadium.
On December 7, the group announced via their official Japanese channels that additional dates have been added to their sixth world tour ‘THIS IS FOR.’ TWICE will hold three solo concerts at Tokyo National Stadium on April 25, 26, and 28, 2026.
The concerts will be staged in a full 360-degree seating layout, with an estimated capacity of around 80,000 attendees per show and a total audience of approximately 240,000 across all three dates, marking the largest scale concert ever hosted at the venue.
TWICE previously drew 400,000 fans during their Japan dome tour in September as part of their ongoing world tour, reaffirming their immense ticketing power as a top global K-pop girl group. During the closing show at Tokyo Dome, the members expressed their desire to perform on an even larger stage, a statement now fulfilled with their confirmed stadium dates.
The group is also achieving major global milestones in streaming and sales. With the track “Strategy” from their 14th mini album released on December 6, TWICE became the first K-pop girl group to earn platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The song has charted on the Billboard Hot 100 for 17 weeks, marking a long-running hit and earning the highest certification tier ever achieved by a K-pop girl group.
