A total of 16 contestants advanced to the final round of Mnet's female idol rapper competition program, 'Hip-Hop Princess'.

[SPOILERS AHEAD]

On the December 11 broadcast of 'Hip-Hop Princess', the remaining contestants each put on a 60-second solo rap performance, each completing a stage unique to themselves through their personal stories and experiences. The contestants took part in not just the rap making, but also designing their 60-second stage.

Only 16 contestants were to move onto the next stage, meaning 4 contestants with the lowest scores would get eliminated.

First, based on the judges' criteria and feedback, contestants Kim Do Yi, Lee Joo Eun, Nam Yu Ju, and Niko received the highest scores, forming the initial top 4 who would move onto the final round. Next, after factoring in global fan votes, the remaining 12 contestants to advance were Choi Ga Yoon, Choi You Min, Han Hee Yeon, Hina, Kim Soo Jin, Koko, Min Ji Ho, Mirika, Rino, Sasa, Yoon Chae Eun, and Yoon Seo Young. Unfortunately, Mia, Nana, Ryu Ha Jin, and Shiho were eliminated.

Next week, the top 16 will compete in their very last battle to determine who will debut in the first ever Korean-Japanese female hip-hop idol group. The final episode will air next Thursday at 9:50 PM KST via Mnet and U-NEXT.
