The images captured behind-the-scenes moments from Sung Si Kyung’s year-end concert. What drew particular attention was his outfit. Sung Si Kyung appeared wearing a pink suit set identical in style to the one G-Dragon wore on stage at the 2024 MAMA Awards held in Japan, sparking buzz among fans.
G-Dragon personally showed his support by liking the post.
The gesture came amid difficult circumstances for Sung Si Kyung. Recently, it was revealed that he had suffered financial damage at the hands of a longtime manager, a revelation that shocked many.
At the time, Sung Si Kyung’s agency SK Jaewon stated, “It has been confirmed that Sung Si Kyung’s former manager betrayed the company’s trust during the course of their duties. We recognize the seriousness of the matter and are currently assessing the exact scope of the damage. The individual in question has since left the company.”
Facing the betrayal of someone he had trusted, Sung Si Kyung candidly shared his emotional struggle ahead of his year-end performances, saying he had been “constantly asking himself whether he could, or even should, stand on stage under these circumstances.”
Sung Si Kyung debuted in 2000 and is marking his 25th anniversary as a singer this year. G-Dragon, who debuted in 2006 as a member of BIGBANG, is now a 19-year veteran artist. The warm exchange between two musicians representing different generations left a heartfelt impression on the year-end music scene.
