Known celebrity best friends Han So Hee and Jeon Jong Seo are set to meet audiences next January.
The film 'Project Y' (directed by Lee Hwan) confirmed its release date for January 21 and unveiled its character posters, teasing an intense crime-entertainment movie.
'Project Y' follows Mi Seon (played by Han So Hee) and Do Kyung (Jeon Jong Seo), who, living in the heart of a bustling city while dreaming of a different future, find themselves at the edge of life’s cliff. They embark on a dangerous journey, stealing black money and gold bars, setting off a chain of thrilling events.
The film premiered in the "Special Presentation" section at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival, later received an official invitation to the 30th Busan International Film Festival, and won the Best Film award at the 10th London Asian Film Festival.
Han So Hee and Jeon Jong Seo lead the cast, joined by seasoned actors Kim Shin Rok and Jung Young Joo, as well as Kim Sung Cheol, forming a lineup audiences can trust. Oh My Girl member YooA makes her acting debut, bringing fresh energy to the film.

The character posters highlight each character’s personality through key lines. Han So Hee is seen running in a flashy fur jacket, with her line, “If this goes wrong, we could really die,” emphasizing the perilous situation on the edge of danger.
Jeon Jong Seo appears on a cold night street, gazing into the distance. His line, “If we’re going for it, we go hard,” signals the risky choices he’s willing to make to turn his life around. Kim Shin Rok (as Ga Young) and Jung Young Joo (as Hwang So) also radiate charisma through intense lines.
YooA (as Ha Kyeong) delivers a meaningful line, “Get a grip, I’m your owner,” while Kim Sung Cheol (as Chief Toh) closes with a chilling presence, saying, “It’s time to end this.”
