Additional claims have surfaced in Park Na Rae's ex-manager controversy as more details regarding 'Injection Aunt' have been revealed.
An additional interview with broadcaster Park Na Rae’s former manager has been made public on MBN’s 'News Fighter,' raising new allegations related to the so-called “Injection Aunt” controversy.
During a recent broadcast of News Fighter, the former manager appeared on the program and revealed a packet of medication that Park Na Rae allegedly received on an ongoing basis from an individual referred to as “Injection Aunt.” According to the former manager, the packet contained a pink, butterfly-shaped pill—previously rumored to have also been found in the possession of YouTuber Haetnim The Short Mouth.
A psychiatrist who appeared on the program commented on the pill, saying it was “presumed to be phentermine,” explaining that it is a controlled narcotic-class medication that requires a doctor’s prescription. The expert added, “While it suppresses appetite, it can cause side effects such as increased irritability and heart palpitations. Some people take it expecting a stimulant effect when they feel drowsy or mentally foggy.” The psychiatrist further noted, “Because of the high risk of abuse, doctors are legally restricted from prescribing it for more than 28 days. Excessive intake can lead to serious issues.”
The former manager claimed on air, “I felt that Park Na Rae had already developed a tolerance to the medication,” adding that there were instances when she took two packets of medication before going to bed. The manager also alleged that the medication packets provided by “Injection Aunt” were not organized by the usual “after breakfast, lunch, and dinner” instructions, but instead divided into multiple time slots, making it possible to take them at any time. “It looked like there was a clear risk of misuse,” the former manager claimed.
The manager further raised questions about the prescription process, stating, “I heard that instead of receiving a two-month supply and returning after two months, she was told to contact them whenever the medication ran out.” Referring to message exchanges with “Injection Aunt,” the former manager also alleged that the individual once said, “Haetnim takes this medication four times a day.” However, these claims remain unverified and are solely the former manager’s assertions.
Meanwhile, Haetmin The Short Mouth has faced allegations of receiving narcotic medications from the individual known as “Injection Aunt” for dieting purposes. She has denied the accusations, stating, “I did receive medication for swelling, but it had nothing to do with illegal prescriptions or IV drips.”
As conflicting accounts continue to emerge from those involved, the exact facts surrounding the case are expected to be determined through further investigation and legal proceedings.
