Comedian Park Na Rae expressed her disappointment after two former managers filed for a provisional seizure of her real estate assets.
On December 4, Park’s team told Dailian, “Two managers quit last month without any particular issue, and then suddenly filed for a provisional seizure worth 100 million KRW (about 68,000 USD). It’s heartbreaking.” Earlier that day, Dispatch reported that the former managers had submitted the request to the Seoul Western District Court and were preparing a damages lawsuit against her.
According to Dispatch, the former managers have claimed workplace harassment, verbal abuse, special assault, errands involving proxy medical prescriptions, and unsettled expense reimbursements. They have reportedly submitted additional supporting documents to the court.
The managers allege that Park frequently asked them to handle personal tasks, including matters related to her family. They also claim they were verbally reprimanded for not drinking alcohol, and that one manager was injured by a glass allegedly thrown during an incident. They further argue that certain work-related expenses and food costs went unpaid or were not reimbursed in a timely manner.
The managers stated that when they requested proper settlement of expenses, Park warned she would “file complaints for defamation and forgery of private documents.” They said they pursued a provisional seizure out of concern that Park might dispose of assets ahead of a potential damages lawsuit.
The two individuals who filed the complaint are known to have worked with Park after she became independent, not from her previous agency led by comedian Kim Jun Ho.
