
J.Y. Park has donated 1 billion KRW (approx. 678,767 USD) to support children in need, both in Korea and overseas.
On December 4, Park attended a donation ceremony at JYP’s headquarters in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, for the “Medical Support for Vulnerable Children” initiative. The donation aims to help children and adolescents struggling with the high costs of surgery and treatment.
Park Jin Young contributed 200 million KRW (approx. 135,736 USD) each to Gachon University Gil Hospital, Konyang University Hospital, and Seoul National University Children’s Hospital, and 400 million KRW (271,472 USD) to World Vision. The donation to World Vision will support medical treatment for children abroad and assist in recovery efforts from natural disasters in countries such as Thailand, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka.
He stated, “I hope all children, who possess limitless potential to change the world, can freely pursue their dreams and grow up healthy. I hope this support reaches the places where it is truly needed.”

J.Y. Park also shared a personal connection to his philanthropy: “I have two daughters, aged six and five. When I meet children who have received treatment, their bright, sparkling eyes remind me of my daughters, which makes my heart even more committed to helping.”
He pledged to continue his charitable efforts: “Both personally and through JYP and its artists, we will continue to work hard and give back. I hope our donations are used transparently, helping to expand a culture of giving and provide strength to children.”
Park Jin Young has consistently led philanthropic initiatives, donating 1 billion KRW annually since 2022, totaling 4 billion KRW (approx. 2.7 million USD) over four years.
JYP Entertainment also contributed 1.714 billion KRW (approx. 1.16 million USD) this year through its “EDM” treatment support project, bringing its cumulative donations since 2020 to 7.92 billion KRW (approx. 5.38 million USD), supporting 3,000 children domestically and internationally.
