Actor Jang Geun Suk has looked back on his long career with pride.
On December 26, a new video titled 'What happens when Jang Geun Suk, who can't feel spicy heat, goes to Japan' was uploaded to his YouTube channel.
While waiting for food at a famous spicy restaurant in Tokyo, Jang Geun Suk suddenly opened up. "I have been working for 34 years, and I haven't had a single scandal," he declared. "I take pride in the fact that I've been active until today without any major accidents."
He explained his secret: "I always controlled myself, was considerate of others, and put others before myself. When you feel the hard work of the staff and the gratitude of the audience, you can't act carelessly."
He then added a dramatic flair, saying, "The position of a 'Prince' is lonely."
Hearing this sudden confession, a staff member joked, "You sound like someone leaving a last will." Jang Geun Suk laughed and replied, "I'm just saying I walked a hard path diligently in a foreign land for a long time."
Jang Geun Suk debuted as a child model in 1993. He established himself as a top "Hallyu Star" through hit projects including the sitcom 'Nonstop 4', the dramas 'Beethoven Virus' and 'You're Beautiful', and the movie 'The Case of Itaewon Homicide'.
