Kim Garam, who left the group LE SSERAFIM following a school bullying controversy, has shared an update on her current life.
On December 1, Kim Garam posted several photos on social media accompanied by a heart emoji. Though she did not write any captions, fans were drawn to her long-awaited update.
In the photos, Kim Garam exuded a pure yet mature aura, pairing an off-shoulder knit top with a black skirt. One outdoor shot also conveyed a dreamy, ethereal mood.
Kim opened her social media account in May of this year, more than three years after leaving LE SSERAFIM, occasionally sharing glimpses of her daily life through mirror selfies and other posts.
In June, reports surfaced that Kim Garam was in discussions for an exclusive contract with a newly established agency, sparking rumors of a possible comeback to the entertainment industry. However, the agency denied these reports, calling them baseless and dismissing the speculation.
Kim Garam faced allegations of school bullying shortly after LE SSERAFIM’s debut teaser in 2022. Amid the controversy, she halted activities just 19 days after her debut and formally withdrew from the group in July of that year, terminating her contract with HYBE's Source Music.
Through a friend’s social media account, she later released a statement personally denying all allegations: “I have never hit or harmed anyone. I was never forcibly transferred to another school. I have never smoked or drunk alcohol. I have never bullied or ostracized anyone. I was just an ordinary student.”
Kim Garam is currently reported to be studying in the Department of Media Acting at Konkuk University.
