Former 4Minute member and actress Nam Ji Hyun is enjoying a new career peak as she continues her active work as a barre instructor.
On December 5, Nam Ji Hyun shared scenes from her barre class at the “Balance Zone,” a wellness space inside Jeongseon High1 Resort, through her Instagram account. “Since many participants were beginners, we enjoyed a K-pop barre session together,” she wrote. “Everyone had fun despite working up a sweat, and it felt rewarding to see them discover the charm of barre.”
She also revealed her honest reaction to hearing 4Minute’s music play during the class. “It felt strange,” she admitted, adding, “My desire to give people good energy is the same now in 2025 as it was back in 2009.”
Fans responded with warm messages such as, “It’s great to see her looking so healthy,” “Your happy energy is the best,” and “I want to exercise with joy too.”
After her time with 4Minute, Nam Ji Hyun has been building a new career as both an actress and a barre instructor, continuing to expand her professional path.
