EXO member D.O. (Do Kyung Soo) has candidly revealed that he has no romantic aspirations when it comes to marriage.
In a video released on December 30 on the YouTube channel Jae Friends, titled “These Three All Share the Same Origin (Vocal King, Visual King, All-Around Ace)”, Kim Jae Joong, Na Yoon Kwon, and Do Kyung Soo appeared together to share updates on their lives.
During the conversation, Na Yoon Kwon shared that he got married in March last year and welcomed a child that December. He said, “My baby just turned one recently and has started walking,” adding honestly, “He's adorable, but it’s incredibly exhausting,” as he spoke about the realities of parenting.
He added that he helps with childcare whenever he doesn’t have work scheduled, saying, “Compared to earlier this year, I think my child is starting to recognize what kind of person I am as a father.” Talking about his son’s looks, Na Yoon Kwon joked, “Thankfully, his facial features resemble his mother more,” explaining, “The ears and toes feel like they were copied from me, but the eyes are definitely his mom’s.”
Na Yoon Kwon also expressed his emotions as a new father, saying, “We’re not fully communicating yet, but he understands when I talk and runs over to hug me. It’s a feeling I’ve never experienced before—something that can’t be put into words.”
When Kim Jae Joong asked, “Kyung Soo, do you think about getting married?” Do Kyung Soo answered frankly, “Not yet. Some people have romantic ideals or dreams about marriage, right? I have none at all. As of now, I don’t think about marriage.”
Previously, in an interview for the Disney+ original series 'The Manipulated,' Do Kyung Soo also commented on Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min Ah’s marriage, saying, “I sincerely congratulate them. I recently met senior Shin Min Ah for the first time.”
He continued, “I’ve known Woo Bin hyung for a long time, so seeing someone you’ve known for years get married is truly a blessing.” Speaking about their relationship, Do Kyung Soo added, “You can really feel how healthy and happy their relationship has been, so I’m genuinely happy for them. Even after dating for so long, they still have that pink, rosy feeling.”
He went on to praise Kim Woo Bin’s thoughtfulness, saying, “He still gives her flowers on Pepero Day. It’s not even her birthday—he bought flowers and even picked up Pepero himself from a convenience store.”
Do Kyung Soo laughed, adding, “I’m not the type who’s good at planning things like that, so I thought, ‘Wow, he really takes care of things.’ I felt like they’ll probably stay lovey-dovey forever.” He then reiterated, “As for me, I still have absolutely no thoughts about getting married.”
Instead of singing a congratulatory song, Do Kyung Soo attended Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min Ah’s wedding as a guest after making time following his appearance on the MMA 2025 red carpet.
