Dreamcatcher member Siyeon is making her return as part of a co-ed rock band.
On December 25, Dreamcatcher Company released a spoiler video on the official social media channels of ChRocktikal, officially announcing the band’s debut. According to the announcement, ChRocktikal will release its first full-length album on January 15, 2026, at 6 PM KST.
The teaser video revealed the title of the band’s debut album, 'We Break, You Awake.' Featuring the visual effect of a glass sphere shattering, the clip conveys ChRocktikal’s sharp and intense musical identity.
ChRocktikal is a four-member co-ed rock band consisting of Siyeon (main vocalist), Lee Jun Young (bassist), Je Gwan Woo (drummer), and Lee Won Seok (producer and guitarist). The band’s name combines the words Chrome, the energy of Rock, and the blade-like image of KAL, symbolizing their ambition to establish a bold and straightforward musical identity.
Siyeon, who was the main vocalist of Dreamcatcher, will serve not only as ChRocktikal’s frontwoman but also as a producer. Known for her deep affinity for rock music during her time with Dreamcatcher, her experience is expected to play a key role in shaping the band’s debut album.
Meanwhile, among Dreamcatcher’s seven members who debuted in January 2017, Handong, Dami, and Gahyeon ended their contracts with Dreamcatcher Company this past March. Despite leaving the agency, the three members have stated they will continue group activities. The agency added that it will support unit activities by JiU, SuA, and Yoohyeon, as well as Siyeon’s new band project with ChRocktikal.
