aespa’s Karina teamed up with broadcaster Jang Do Yeon for a travel variety show. Karina appeared on episode 7 of Netflix’s daily variety program 'Getaway and Go with Jangdobari Season 3,' where she and Jang Do Yeon headed to Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province, for a short getaway.
The appearance fulfilled a wish Karina shared last year on the YouTube variety show 'Salon Drip 2,' where she told Jang Do Yeon, “I want to do a travel variety show. Would you like to do one together?”
From the very start of the trip, Karina showed her enthusiasm, jokingly calling it a “one on one fan meeting” and saying, “I’ll actively make a move,” drawing laughter. Jang Do Yeon responded warmly, saying, “‘Jangdobari’ itself was first born through Karina’s words. Karina is like the mother of this program.”
The two also redefined the term "Jang Ka Sul (Jang Wonyoung, Karina, Sullyoon)," originally used to refer to the top three girl group visuals. This time, they gave it a new meaning: “Jang Do Yeon and Karina’s fluttering trip,” showcasing their fresh and unexpected chemistry.
An archery match added to the fun as well. Although it was her first time trying archery, Karina impressed with her skills, leading to a surprisingly fierce competition with Jang Do Yeon.
Episode 7 of 'Getaway and Go with Jangdobari Season 3' was released on December 27th at 5 p.m.
