Singer Sung Si Kyung has parted ways with his longtime manager of over 10 years, after suffering significant financial damages due to work-related issues.
According to a MyDaily exclusive report on November 3, Sung Si Kyung recently ended his professional relationship with his manager, who had worked closely with him for more than a decade. The separation reportedly stemmed from serious management problems that caused monetary losses for Sung Si Kyung and several associated partners and vendors.
The manager, who had followed Sung Si Kyung from his previous agency, had long handled major aspects of his career — including concerts, broadcasts, advertisements, and event scheduling — and was known for maintaining a strong working relationship with the singer.
However, recent issues in the manager’s handling of business matters allegedly led to financial damages. Although the exact amount was not disclosed, the losses are said to be considerable. Upon discovering the situation, Sung Si Kyung and his agency immediately terminated all work with the manager, who has since resigned.
Sung Si Kyung’s agency SK Jaewon stated, “Sung Si Kyung is deeply saddened by the situation involving a manager he trusted and worked with for many years. However, after confirming actions that broke that trust, the company determined it could no longer overlook the matter and has completely ended all professional ties. The manager is no longer with the company.”
Attempts to reach the former manager for comment have so far been unsuccessful.
