Song Ji Hyo has signaled a firm response after receiving a threatening email.
On November 21, the legal representative of Nexus ENM stated, “We recently received an email sent to the agency raising allegations that Song Ji Hyo’s father’s company is in a state of default.”
The email also included a draft of a banner. The banner read, “Parents of a famous celebrity, known on TV for their passenger ship business.”
The legal representative pointed out, “They sent this banner not even to her father but to the agency, which appears to be an attempt to damage Song Ji Hyo’s reputation and image by posting it in front of the company.”
They added, “It can also be interpreted as an attempt to obstruct the company’s normal business operations. This is clearly a criminal act that goes far beyond what is socially acceptable.”
The agency declared a strong stance, stressing that it will not overlook any form of threat or pressure directed at its actors or the company. “If unlawful acts continue, we will pursue every possible legal measure,” they stated.
