Actor Song Hye Kyo warmed fans’ hearts by revealing the surprise flower gift sent by her close friend Suzy, who celebrated her belated birthday.
On November 27, Song Hye Kyo posted a photo on her social media with the caption, “Thank you for the surprise gift~.” The bouquet featured a lush arrangement of soft lavender and lime-colored roses paired with purple daisy mums, reportedly prepared and sent personally by Suzy.
Song Hye Kyo’s birthday was on November 22nd, and although the gift arrived a little late, Suzy’s thoughtful gesture highlighted their enduring friendship and made fans smile. The two are well known in the industry as longtime senior-junior friends who celebrate each other’s birthdays every year.
The day after her birthday, Song Hye Kyo shared, “I received all the flowers and gifts. I had a wonderful time. I’ll repay you with a great project,” along with a photo of her birthday cake. Her adorable hoodie look and bright smile as she held a heart-shaped ornament prompted reactions like “She’s aging backwards” and “She’s really 44?”
Song Hye Kyo is currently filming 'Show Business' (working title), a new Netflix series written by Noh Hee Kyung, in which she plays the character Min Ja. The message on the cake, “Min Ja is our rest stop,” was also a heartfelt note from the production team.
