Rookie boy group CORTIS has achieved an extraordinary milestone — performing at Tokyo Dome only three months after their debut.
On November 3 KST, CORTIS took the stage at the “MUSIC EXPO LIVE 2025” held at Tokyo Dome. The group had already made headlines earlier when they were invited to the event just three days after their debut — joining a star-studded lineup that included leading K-pop acts such as TOMORROW X TOGETHER and ENHYPEN, along with top Japanese artists.
CORTIS performed a total of four songs — including their debut title track “What You Want,” as well as “FaSHioN,” “GO!” and “JoyRide.” Their powerful stage presence, flawless vocals, and dynamic choreography captivated the massive audience, who responded with coordinated fan chants and loud cheers echoing throughout the dome.
Moving seamlessly between the main and extended stages, the five members showcased their commanding charisma that shone even brighter in the vast venue. Their polished performance and confident stage manners were praised as remarkably mature for a rookie group.
Following the successful completion of their debut promotions in Korea, CORTIS has been expanding their activities across the United States and Japan. They recently appeared on Japan’s leading music program “CDTV Live! Live!” performing “FaSHioN” on November 3, and are scheduled to appear on Nippon TV’s “Buzz Rhythm 02” on November 7.
Japanese media coverage has also been enthusiastic. Fuji TV TWO aired a special behind-the-scenes feature covering “CORTIS The 1st EP [COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES] RELEASE PARTY” held in Korea on September 8, while the group has also appeared on multiple radio stations, including J-WAVE and other major FM channels.
Meanwhile, according to Billboard’s latest chart (dated November 8), CORTIS’s debut album “COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES” ranked No. 3 on the World Albums chart, marking its eighth consecutive week on the chart. The album also placed No. 40 on Top Album Sales and No. 31 on Top Current Album Sales, proving the group’s strong and steadily growing international popularity.
