The Seoul Prosecutor's Office has deferred trot singer Jung Dong Won's indictment over his underaged driving case.
Previously, Jung Dong Won was booked for operating a truck as an unlicensed minor at the age of 15 in January of last year.
Based on the fact that he is a minor and that this was his first criminal offense of this kind, prosecutors chose to defer his indictment, although acknowledging that the singer was guilty.
Jung Dong Won previously received a similar deferral sentence for operating a motorcycle on an expressway designated for automobiles only in March of 2023.
