Comedian Park Na Rae has spoken up about the absurd fake news circulating about her.
In the episode of Park Na Rae’s YouTube channel 'Narae-sik' released on the 19th, mukbang YouTuber Tzuyang appeared as a guest and expressed her frustration over false rumors—including claims that she is Chinese or backed by the Chinese government. Park Na Rae, who has also been the target of multiple fake stories, joined in the discussion.
Tzuyang, who even appeared at a National Assembly audit last month to testify about the damages of cyber-wrecking, revisited the outlandish fake news she has faced. “People say Chinese groups are funding and supporting me, and that’s why I have so many subscribers. They even say my nationality is Chinese,” she said. “There are things I can’t even say on air because they’re too extreme, and these are actually on the milder side.”
Park Na Rae, who has dealt with her fair share of fabricated rumors, empathized. “I’ve also had plenty of extreme ones, but the most ridiculous was the claim that I was getting married to Jun Hyun Moo,” she said.

She continued, “Those I can laugh off, but then there was a rumor saying I was pregnant with Yang Se Chan’s baby—and they even made a fake ultrasound photo of me holding it.” Tzuyang, who had been enjoying her mukbang, burst into laughter at the story.
Park Na Rae added, “I saw the ultrasound photo, and for a moment I genuinely thought, ‘Wait, am I actually pregnant?’ It looked that real,” she joked, recalling how absurd the moment was.
Tzuyang also revealed another rumor her parents had asked her about. “There was a claim that I graduated from the Sogang University Continuing Education Program. It was even on Namuwiki. It’s wrong. They even got the Chinese characters of my name wrong. There’s just so much incorrect information. From controversies to things that never happened—I decided I’m better off not looking at it anymore,” she said.
