Nana’s agency confirms that both Nana and her mother are severely injured after fighting off an intruder in their home

Nana’s agency has just revealed that Nana and her mother both suffered serious injuries, following a robbery in their home.

On November 15, a man broke into the home of Nana (Im Jin-ah, actress and former member of After School), attempting an armed robbery. Nana and her mother reportedly subdued the man after a physical struggle, handing him over to police custody.

While it was initially reported that Nana and her mother were unharmed, Nana’s agency, Sublime Entertainment, has now revealed that the two both sustained serious injuries in the incident. 

The agency stated: “Nana's mother suffered severe injuries and lost consciousness from the robber's physical attack, and Nana also suffered physical injuries while trying to escape the crisis. Both are currently in need of treatment and complete rest.”

The Guri Police Department previously announced that they had arrested and are investigating a man in his 30s, identified as "A," on charges of attempted robbery against Nana and her mother. He is accused of breaking into Nana's home in Acheon-dong, Guri City, Gyeonggi Province. The man reportedly threatened Nana and her mother with a weapon, demanding money.

Nana’s agency issued a full statement on the incident:

“Hello. This is Sublime Entertainment.

Early this morning, a robber armed with a weapon broke into actress Nana's residence, creating a very dangerous situation that could have seriously harmed both Nana and her mother. As a result of the robber's physical attack, Nana's mother suffered serious injuries and lost consciousness. Nana also suffered physical injuries while trying to escape the crisis. Both are currently in need of treatment and complete rest.

The specific details of the case are currently under investigation and cannot be revealed. All information is currently being thoroughly investigated by the police, and our company is fully cooperating with the investigation.

As the safety of the victim and her family is our top priority, we ask that you refrain from making speculations, spreading false information, or invading the victims’ privacy regarding this case, as this could cause serious secondary harm. Our company will do our best to support Nana and her family to ensure their full recovery.
